Bang & Olufsen has introduced its new Beoplay H8i and H9i headphones. Both sets still look classically B&O, with an uncluttered, Scandinavian aesthetic. But they’re packing substantial updates.
Both sets of new flagship headphones boast high-end materials. The Beoplay H9i stands out with a lightweight aluminum frame, a solid headband, and a stitched cowhide leather cover. Adaptive memory foam, lambskin ear cushions, and anodized aluminum ear cups complete the build.
The stylish new cans perform, too, thanks to B&O’s hybrid Active Noise Cancellation technology, added bass port, and enlarged aluminum discs with touch control. Users will especially enjoy the proximity sensor that can stop music streaming when the headphones are removed.
The Beoplay H8i headphones received an upgrade as well, with sleek anodized aluminum discs, button controls on the earcups, and a revised mono-arm for greater comfort.
Available in B&O stores and online, the headphones can be purchased in neutral, gray, or black. The Beoplay H8i is available for $399, and the H9i is priced at $499.
