Comedian Mike Epps has just sold his home in Encino, California for $3.5 million.
Epps first purchased the Los Angeles-area home with his now ex-wife, actress Mechelle McCain Epps, more than ten years ago; the couple paid $3.4 million for the property. Built in 1990, the traditional home was recently renovated and boasts an open floor plan with five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The 6,828-square-foot residence includes a number of luxurious amenities and design flourishes: two libraries, a family room with three custom fireplaces, coffered ceilings, hardwood floors, and a media room with a wet bar top the list. The kitchen is also updated with double ovens and modern appliances.
The backyard is luxurious as well with lush grassy spaces, a built-in BBQ, a stone patio, a swimming pool, and a spa.
Mike and Mechelle divorced earlier this year. Mechelle most recently appeared in “Forgiveness,” and Mike starred in ABC’s comedy “Uncle Buck.”
