Socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein Knocks Trump Tower Ask Down to $11M

Socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein has put her luxurious New York City apartment back on the market at a somewhat more modest price. The property is now asking $11 million.

Wildenstein first listed the Trump Tower unit for $13 million about eight months ago. In addition to the reduced price, the unit itself got a nip-tuck with a simplified interior look.

The expansive 5,200-square-foot unit holds five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, and while it was first put on the market with Wildenstein’s unique style on display throughout, the listing could now be referred to as a blank canvas. The photos below show it at the time of its initial listing: a trifle anxious, but worthy of remark. The end result managed to come together as an elegant display of interior design savvy and high-end-decor muscle flexing, dizzying though it may be. Some would have called it a showroom on steroids, but it was very tastefully executed.

Since the apartment was created using three separate units, buyers have the option to customize what is an unusually extensive space.  The unit includes a library, three private elevators, and large windows offering views of Manhattan’s skyline.

Located on the 51st floor of the Trump World Tower, the building features a number of amenities, including a private driveway, a private wine cellar, a health club, concierge service, and a 24/7 doorman.
