Premium audio brand Bang & Olufsen has introduced a number of new products this year, and the newest creation falls in line very neatly with the brand’s tradition of faithful, uncolored sound reproduction.
B & O’s new Beoplay E8 Ear Buds are hitting the market, and they present serious competition for Apple’s AirPods. Not only are the new headphones much more modern looking, they offer the acute sonic presentation that the Danish company has always been known for.
Crafted from aluminum and polymer, the new earbuds are both water- and dust-proof. Users control sound easily via the buds’ touch surface, which utilizes fingertip gesture recognition tech to take calls, start/stop music, and alter the volume.
The in-ear Bluetooth headphones feature a number of advanced features, including 5.7mm electro-dynamic speakers and a 20 – 20,000 Hz frequency range. The unit may be operated for four hours on a single charge.
Available October 12th for $299, the Bang & Olufsen earbuds will come in charcoal sand and black.
