There are more and more high-tech headphones available, but few look as cool as the new Luzli Roller Mk01: its metal-link style takes its design inspiration from Swiss watchmakers, and is designed for a custom fit and low-profile storage as much as high-fidelity.
TECA Technologies is responsible for the new sound tech which features an all-metal headband. It rolls up for storage or travel, making it easy to stow when not in use.
The Luzli Roller Mk01’s headband is crafted from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, and is paired with 22 steel springs that contour to a listener’s head.
TECA Technologies designed the headphones with noise cancellation in mind, and two sets of foam earpads help to reduce distracting ambient sound. 30 mm dynamic drivers and a frequency response of 110 Hz ensure users enjoy clear, “warm” sound production.
The unique headphones took nearly 10 years to develop. Each set is hand-made to order in Switzerland, and priced at $3,000.
