Zaha Hadid Architects‘ new customizable kitchen island for Boffi will make any design-lover envious.

The Italian company will offer the Hadid piece for apartments of the firm’s 520 West 28th project. Located in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York, the building is almost completed.

The Boffi Cove Kitchen will certainly be the centerpiece of any kitchen it inhabits, with its curvaceous edges and an empty cavity in the front for stools.

Based on the shapes from the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, and the MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, the entire design is seamless. It incorporates a sink into the countertop, and sleekly flush cabinets.

Available in two standard sizes, nearly every element of the Boffi kitchen is customizable, and available in luxury materials, including Corian, marble, and wood.
