Screenwriter/director/producer Jonas Pate is looking to offload his gated property in the Fryman Canyon neighborhood of Studio City. Pate is asking a little less than $4.2 million for the property.

The Los Angeles-area home is on the market less than three years after Pate scooped up the residence for $2.65 million.

The house measures in at a little under 4,500 square feet, and offers an open floor plan. Luxury features include an oversized living room boasting a large stacked stone fireplace, a formal dining room, a family room with another fireplace, and a den with its own wet bar. The kitchen features an exposed beam ceiling, and a mix of both butcher block and ceramic tile counter tops.

Outside of the four-bedroom, four-bathroom main house is a lighted tennis court, a two-car garage, a swimming pool and spa, and a large brick terrace. Near the terrace is a modest guest cottage that features its own living room, bathroom, and triangular bedroom. The lot comes in at just over half an acre.

Pate has worked on projects such as “Friday Night Lights,” “Aquarius,” “Blood & Oil,” and “Deception.” Currently, his Fryman Canyon neighbors include Teri Hatcher, Bruno Mars, Jeff Probst, and George Clooney.
