Justin and Barbie Adler are marketing their Windsor Square home. The producers are asking $3.85 million for the house, which has been restored. The couple purchased the property in 2006, for $2.9 million.

The house—a late 1920’s Spanish Eclectic—measures 3,539 square feet, and contains four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Although updated, immense care was taken to preserve the integrity of the home, and its historic appeal. The house charms continually, from the gated and tiled front walk, to the turreted entrance of the stucco residence, to the appealing outdoor living areas.

Surprises abound in the restored home: inlaid tile accents, ornamental windows, a beautifully arched set of French doors and flanking windows revealing and opening onto the exterior of the property. Floors and wood borders vary in hue, from softly mid-toned to much warmer dark toned. Carved exposed beams, raw wood ceilings, and a carved threshold lintel enhance the atmosphere, and contrast nicely with more contemporary features such as recessed lighting and stainless kitchen appliances. A foyer with a terra cotta tile floor and staircase, a bronze balustrade, kiva fireplace, and lantern chandelier are charmingly reminiscent, and bathroom renovations have been executed very tastefully in keeping with the spirit of the home.

The property exterior features tiered tile and brick patios and free form pool area with inlaid tile border, and lawns dotted with a few strategically prominent palms for a direct link to civic identity.

Justin Adler has executive produced many T.V. shows, including ‘Life in Pieces,’ which he created. Barbie Adler has produced and written for programs including ‘Arrested Development’ and ‘My Name is Earl.’
