After defecting to the West Coast for a long-term Vegas contract, Ricky Martin is in a hurry to sell his unused UES condo. Initially listed about two months ago for $8.4 million, the new listing price is set at $7.1 million. The reduction indicates aggressive marketing, and follows naturally his purchase of a $13.5 million Gregory Ain-designed Beverly Hills home at around time this condo first hit the market.

Located near Carl Shurz Park in the Yorkville neighborhood, the building—170 East End Ave—boasts landscaped courtyard with water feature, 24-hour concierge, Pilates studio and fitness center, yoga studio, golf simulator, screening room, billiards room, and oak-paneled library.

The condo features 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, and expansive, open-concept living and dining room. It measures 3,147 square feet, and contains four bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Floors are plank and parquet hardwood; the kitchen floor is in white tile with black accents. Lower kitchen cabinetry, toned in the soft earthiness of terra-cotta, and beige marble countertops warm up the otherwise chilly, black-white-and-stainless room.

Ricky Martin is currently in residency at Monte Carlo’s Park Theater. The two-time Grammy-winning singer’s records have sold tens of millions of copies; his most recent is ‘A Quien Quiera Escuchar,’ released in 2015. Martin’s acting career led him to Broadway, where he took the role of ‘Che’ Guevara in a 2012 production of ‘Evita.’
