L.A.’s Misha Designs has just the thing for those dissatisfied with their off-the-rack Ferrari. Having made a name for themselves selling non-permanent carbon-fiber body options kits for the Ferrari 458, they’ve turned their experience into two new options kits for the 488 GTB.

Designated as Regular, and the 20-example Limited Wide-Body, the two new kits offer owners the ability to make substantial performance upgrades without irreversible modifications: the Misha bumpers, skirts, spoilers and intake covers replace the existing parts at stock mountings, and may be switched back at a later time for all-original appeal should a sale become desirable.

The Limited Wide-Body kit offers a little more breadth than the Regular—quarter panels three inches wider than the Regular kit, as well as a more dramatic rear diffuser and rear wing.

The results are a more dramatic, high-performance, Formula-1 inspired look, airflow, and downforce. The exposed carbon-fiber lip, hood panel, spoiler, and bumpers and running boards gives the Misha-modified car a more cutting-edge look, and individually customized eye appeal; the effect is, of course, especially dramatic in the company’s press photos, featuring a red Ferrari. The rear sections of the kit are designed to recall the LaFerrari FXXK prototype, and 30 example production run, associating the Misha modifications with one of the most desirable and limited edition passenger cars ever built.

Misha Designs has developed similar limited edition and regular production kits for Mercedes, Porsche and Lamborghini models.
