The one-time Pacific Palisades home of famed Warner Bros. Records President Mo Ostin that was later deeded to his son, Randy Ostin, recently sold for $4.86 million.

Ostin purchased the house and its third of an acre property for $403,500 in the early 1980s, and it was later renovated to its current modern state in 2002. The estate was deeded over to Randy Ostin, an important music executive in his own right, starting in 2008.

The five bedroom, 5.5 bathroom house measures in at 4,800 square feet and includes formal dining and living rooms separated by a two-way fireplace, a family room, and a wet bar. Amenities include stunning hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and walls of windows with breathtaking views.

Outside, there are privacy hedges with a swimming pool and spa, various sitting lawns, a fire pit, and an outdoor shower.

Mo Ostin was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 for his role in signing and promoting music legends such as the Beach Boys, Eric Clapton, Prince, and Neil Young.

Randy Ostin passed away at the age of 60 in 2013. He was a promoter for Warner Reprise and RCA who was responsible for acts such as the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and Jackson Browne. Later in his life, he teamed up with nightlife magnate Mark Packer to create the popular club TAO.
