The Midcentury modern-style home of late television actor Ron Glass in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz has been listed for $1.85 million.
Found on a hillside, the 2,100-square-foot home holds two bedrooms, 2.25 bathrooms, and boasts views ranging from the ocean to downtown LA’s cityscape.
The house also includes a formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen, a family room, a living room with walls of glass, and a wrap-around balcony, with the latter two spaces meant to take in the sweeping views. The property also has a two-car garage just off the front of the house.
Property records indicate that Glass purchased the home in 1978 for $160,000.
Glass passed away in late November. He got his start with small parts on shows such as “All in the Family” and “Sanford and Son.” He is most famous for his role as Detective Ron Harris on the show “Barney Miller” and for his portrayal of the character Shepherd Book on the early 2000s cult-classic “Firefly.”
