Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez just dropped $6.3 million to snap up the now former property of fellow ballplayer Brett Boone near A-Gon’s birthplace of San Diego in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Gonzalez’ new home measures in at 12,500 square feet and is situated on over two acres in a gated community. There is also a detached guest home that offers another bedroom and a second full kitchen to the property.

The Tuscan-style mansion holds seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a game room with a wrap-around bar, his and hers offices, a great room, a tiered home theater, and a formal dining room that offers seating for 16 people.

The home also boasts sliding glass walls that create an indoor/outdoor space. Outside is a lagoon-like swimming pool with a waterslide, a patio area with a built-in barbecue and bar, lawns and landscaping, and a tennis court with a basketball hoop.

Gonzalez began his career with the San Diego Padres after starring for Eastlake High School in Chula Vista. He also played for the Boston Red Sox and was part of a blockbuster trade that brought him to the Dodgers. At 34, he just completed his fifth season with LA and finished the season hitting .285 with 18 home runs.
