The Washington Nationals two-time All-Star starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez is looking to move on from his upscale home in Southwest Ranch, Florida, just eight months after purchasing the mansion.
Gonzalez is seeking $1.875 million for the 5,235-square-foot house that he bought last March, which is actually the second home the left-handed ace has sold in the tiny Florida town in the stretch of a year.
The five-bedroom manse comes with a number of fine amenities, such as a massive home gym with a plethora of equipment, marble floors, granite countertops, and even a master bathroom that comes with a flat-screen television. The 2010-built property also boasts a bunch of smart features that allow the owner to control the home remotely.
Outside there is a covered outdoor kitchen complete with an island with seating, a rotisserie barbecue, a pizza oven, and a TV. There is also a stunning saltwater pool and spa.
Gonzalez is entering the final year of a six-year, $53.5 million contract that has the option of another year for $12 million should the southpaw reach 180 innings.
