Swiss watch manufacturer Ulysse Nardin has released a 99-piece collection of the Freak. The line of watches known as the Freak already holds the honor as the first timepiece to successfully present escapement wheels constructed of silicium and a tourbillon carousel that possesses no traditional dial, crown, or hand. The latest entrant into the Freak family enhances its trademark silicium use. The Freak Phantom uses silicium in its hairspring (Si 1.1.1.) and throughout its escapement’s majority. The entire movement of the Freak Phantom is produced in house and offers a power reserve of eight days.
The cage comes equipped with an arrow indicating the seconds on a transparent half-circle. The case is crafted in 18k rose gold. The wrist band is made of tough leather.
