Hennessey took Ford’s F-150 Raptor, added an axle and a longer bed to it, and transformed the truck into a behemoth called the VelociRaptor 6X6.
The American tuner also gave the truck 20-inch wheels with off-road tires, a new bumper with a bull bar built into it, four large fog lights sitting on the front of the roof, a fully adjustable suspension made by Fox, and locking rear axels.
Hennessey felt that Ford did enough under the hood and didn’t real mess with the factory Raptor-sourced twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that makes 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. All of this power is sent to all six wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Potential owners seeking extra ponies can get the VelociRaptor with Hennessey’s HPE600 package. This option adds larger turbochargers, a new air-to-air intercooler, a re-worked ECU, and a high-flow stainless steel exhaust to boost the 6X6 beast up to 600 horses. Other options include upgraded Brembo brakes, larger wheels, and a bespoke interior.
Hennessey starts the pricing for the VelociRaptor 6×6 at $295,000, including the price of the F-150 Raptor it is based on. Interested parties can order the beast from Hennessey directly or at various dealerships.
