Italian motorcycle giant Ducati chose the recent Intermot 2016 in Cologne, Germany, to reveal the first of its upcoming model lineup for 2017: the new SuperSport, which offers both comfort and power packed in a sporty design.
The SuperSport is powered by a twin-cylinder Testastretta 11° engine that makes 113 horsepower. Thanks to a trio of riding modes (Sport, Touring, and Urban), riders can utilize that power in different ways in all sorts of conditions. And with a gas tank filling up at a little over four gallons, the SuperSport has been made into a medium-distance bike.
Ducati will also make a SuperSport S model that offers fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Ducati’s quick shift up/down system, and a rear seat cover to name just a few of the options on the upgraded model.
The 2017 SuperSport features a retail price of $12,995, with the SuperSport S costing $14,795.
