Porsche Design’s 911 Soundbar isn’t just as sexy in name as the iconic model it is named after, it is actually constructed using real parts from the actual car made famous by the German brand.

The accompanying subwoofer is created from the tailpipes and rear muffler of a Porsche 911 GT3. As an added touch, a track of what the supercar sounds like when it is turned on plays whenever the Porsche Soundbar is activated.

The Porsche Design 911 Soundbar delivers a 200-watt 2.1-channel virtual surround system with a Dolby Digital decoder to maintain accuracy, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and DTS TruSound to mimic the virtues of a true surround system.

The whole package is situated on a matte-black base and boasts a LED display, an analog output, and a pair of digital inputs.

Carrying a $3,500 price tag, the 911 Soundbar currently has a waitlist with each unit being made as fast as the necessary GT3 parts to craft it can be found.
