Audio is often the least important part in creating a player’s dream gaming setup. However, Sennheiser is looking to make sound a critical part of the gaming experience with its new PC 373D headphones.
Complete with 7.1-channel surround sound, despite only having two speakers, the open-back PC 373D are the successor to Sennheiser’s PC363D flagship model and assumes the role of the brand’s top-of-the-line offering for gaming.
The 373D headphones boast different modes for immersive and competitive gaming, even coming with a dedicated eSports selection. Sennheiser’s new headset also comes with a music mode so they can be used as regular headphones when their users are not attempting to level up or smite a foe.
Sennheiser designed the PC 373D headphones with supple velvet ear pads and vented aluminum ear cups to keep ears cool during long campaigns. They have a $260 price tag.
