Hip-hop artist Big Sean is looking to move on from his West Hollywood Hills bachelor pad, asking $2.295 million for the Mediterranean-style home.
The five-bedroom four-and-a-half bath house features a drive of stamped concrete with an electronic front gate, an open-concept kitchen with stainless appliances, double panel cabinets and a spacious center island, a recording studio, a master bedroom with fireplace and walk-in closet. All told, the interiors include about 4,200 square feet of space with espresso-colored hardwood and stone tile. Off the front entrance sits a two-car garage and the back features multi-level balconies overlooking the San Fernando valley.
The front portico features carved wooden pillars with two sets of French doors opening into the foyer.
Also included are a media room and separate living area with tiled fireplace as well as both a formal dining room with picture window and a breakfast nook. One of the bedrooms currently functions as a recording studio.
The house was very publicly robbed last December while the rapper was away in Dubai. The burglary was suspected to be an inside job by some of the rapper’s associates. Along with about $150,000 in jewelry, the thieves also made off with some of Sean’s unpublished music.
The 28-year-old Detroit-born recording artist, who won Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best New Artist at the 2012 BET Music Awards, most recently had a standout feature on Kanye West’s summer anthem “Champions.” His most recent album, Dark Sky Paradise, hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts last March.
