Ulysse Nardin’s new super-rare Skeleton Tourbillon Pearl timepiece is not only a sight to behold thanks to its craftsmanship and materials, it is also a watch-making feat that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
The Pearl is made of just that, mother-of-pearl, pearl, diamonds, and white gold to create a simple yet stunning wristwatch that is sure to catch the eye of fans of the watch world and random passersby alike.
The in-house Skeleton Tourbillon Caliber UN-170 Manufacture is visible through both the watch face and case back and possesses hints of delicacy and beauty outlined by diamonds around the 44-mm, 18k white gold case and interior of the timepiece.
Ulysse Nardin has skeletonized the caliber, a process in which the intricate components of the timekeeper are reduced to the bare minimum. By doing so, the interior of the watch seems to float on a cloud as it sits on its owner’s wrist.
The Skeleton Tourbillon Pearl features a leather strap and a water resistance of over 1,000 feet, not that any of the lucky owners will probably use the new Ulysse Nardin masterpiece as a diving watch. The Swiss brand will only make eight examples of the exclusive timepiece.
