Perrelet has launched a new limited edition timepiece in honor of the Chinese Year of the Snake called the Turbine Snake.
The rapidly rotating turbine is made of 12 black titanium blades. The dial is made of white mother-of-pearl with an artfully crafted serpent made of Polynesian mother-of-pearl and featuring red ruby eyes of 0.025 carats each.
The 44mm case is made of steel and features black DLC coating for a dark finish. Inside it there is an exclusive in-house P-331 double rotor movement, and the strap is made of black crocodile leather. Perrelet will only produce 99 units of this of watch, and each unit will be individually numbered.
