Last year Ulysse Nardin came out with the first in-house movement used in its Classic collection in the Classico Manufacture watch, and now that same UN-320 caliber is featured in the Swiss brand’s new Ulysse Nardin Classico Manufacture 170th Anniversary.
The new Classico will be limited to 170 examples in honor of Ulysse Nardin’s 170 years in business. The timepiece will come in stainless steel and boast a Grand Feu enamel dial sourced from Donze Cadrans, a Ulysse Nardin-owned company that has been one of the world’s leading experts in enamel dial making since 1846.
Ulysse Nardin has equipped the milky white Grand Feu dial with azure blue numerals and hands to complete the marine chronometer design. The crystal on the watch face comes with an anti-reflective coating, and the rear caseback is also exposed to reveal the movement.
Ulysse Nardin’s Classico Manufacture 170th Anniversary edition will be available at official retailers with an $8,500 price tag.
