The luxurious Feldman House in Los Angeles has received quite the makeover, and now it is on the market for $17 million.

Popular mid-century modern architect Gregory Ain originally designed the home back in 1953, and since then, it’s sat on just under an acre of lush grounds one street up from the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The newly updated 7-bedroom, 9-bath home has been expanded to 11,300 square feet, and even though it’s been updated, the renovation maintained the integrity of the original architecture. Some of the beautiful features include 14-foot ceilings, custom sliding wood doors, and a glass-walled living room, just to name a few.

In the back, there’s an outdoor entertaining area with a 40-foot infinity edge pool and spa, a bar, and a fully equipped outdoor dining room and kitchen. Designed for hosting, the home also holds an open chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a house manager’s desk, and designated guest and staff quarters.

It seems that the amenities never end. In addition to multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, there’s also three fireplaces, a tiered movie theater with an adjacent bar, and an 800-bottle air-conditioned wine cellar.

As expected, the master suite is luxurious, too, with a three-sided floating fireplace wall, an executive kitchen, expansive his-and-hers bathrooms, dual closets, his-and-hers shoes, and a large soaking tub with a ceiling waterfall feature.

Last, but certainly not least, the estate is also technologically advanced with home automation configuration that connects to all home tech, including security, audio, lighting, tv/theater entertainment, cameras, and Nest thermostats.

Expansive and beautiful, it’s even pretty environmentally friendly with a Rainwater Harvesting system that’s capable of storing up to 4,000 gallons.
