High-end watchmaker Bovet 1822 and design firm Pininfarina—the latter famous for its work on over 100 Ferraris, airplanes, and yachts—have teamed up again to offer the world the sixth timepiece in their collaboration series that dates back to 2008: the Flying Tourbillon OTTANTASEI.

The new OTTANTASEI is actually the fourth tourbillon watch in the Pininfarina series and was first released this past January, but it was just recently that Bovet and Pininfarina offered a closer look at the timepiece at their offices in Switzerland and Cambiano, Italy.

The watch features, as its name indicates, a flying tourbillon. It is also light and transparent, yet is powerful with a 10-day chronometric power reserve.

Thanks to front and back sapphire crystals and two long sapphire crystal walls, the watch is completely transparent so its owner can see Bovet’s caliber 17BM03 movement. The timepiece comes in three case options: 18K rose gold, titanium, and titanium with black DLC and is attached to a black rubber strap lined with blue Alcantara.

Bovet and Pininfarina will present the OTTANTASEI in a total of 86 limited numbered editions in the three case options. The 18K rose gold case costs $187,500, and both titanium selections come with a $172,000 price tag.
