Paypal co-founder and early Facebook investor Peter Thiel has just listed his incredible San Francisco mansion for $9.25 million.

Thiel’s five-bedroom, seven-bath home sports stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts and is located in the highly desired Marina District.

Spanning three levels and 7,000 square feet, Remick Architects and Master Builders actually combined two addresses to construct the manse with a penthouse lounge, an elevator, and a roof deck to enjoy those views.

Other features include a sparkling white kitchen with a private service entry and plenty of crown moldings throughout. Additionally, the new owner will find the master suite and a meditation garden on the bottom floor.

Thiel has an estimated net worth of $2.8 billion. The German-born 48-year-old famously started a foundation that offers fellowships of $100,000 to young entrepreneurs if they drop out of college to start new and creative ventures. He is now Chairman of Palantir, a tech company he co-founded in 2004. It is currently valued at $20 billion.

The billionaire entrepreneur was in the news quite a bit lately because he spent $10 million helping Hulk Hogan bring a lawsuit against Gawker Media for violation of privacy. Thiel had an axe to grind with Gawker Media co-founder Nick Denton because the latter had published private details about Thiel’s personal life in 2007. The lawsuit resulted in a $140.1 million judgment in favor of Hogan in one of the most spectacular takedowns in recent memory. Denton quipped: “I’m slightly impressed. It’s kind of like a ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ revenge fantasy for billionaires.” There’s certainly a lesson there about picking fights with billionaires.
