Actor and funnyman Vince Vaughn is getting creative with real estate. The star has broken up his Chicago triplex into two separate apartments going for $12.7 million.

Vaughn’s property has been on the market since 2011 and was originally listed for $24.7 million five years ago, but after the Palmolive Building unit was split, the price was reduced quite a bit. The 7,880-square-foot penthouse duplex is available for $8.5 million, and the 4,292-square-foot unit is on the market for $4.2 million.

The larger unit takes up the building’s top floors and sports a billiard room, a theater room, a service kitchen for the patio area, 14-foot ceilings, and three terraces. Meanwhile, the smaller unit sports great views but is in need of a renovation since it doesn’t currently have a kitchen.

According to the real estate agent, there’s been quite a bit of interest in both properties since the price reduction, so Vaughn should have no problem unloading his Chicago apartments.
