Hollywood super agent Ari Emanuel—the co-CEO of William Morris Endeavor and allegedly the inspiration behind the character Ari Gold from “Entourage”—has recently made a splash on the Los Angeles real estate market by swooping up an estate in the star-studded Mandeville Canyon area for $16.55 million.

The single-story home was built in the late 1990s by famed Southern California architect Marc Whipple and underwent a heavy makeover after being purchased in 2011 by British writer and producer Peter Griffiths. The 5,703-square-foot home was listed in 2015 for $22.5 million before Emanuel’s purchase.

The four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom house has matte-finished white oak flooring lining a large living room, dining room, and family room. There is also a den/media room and a total of at least five fireplaces in the home.

Outside is a 1,500-square-foot secondary structure with a kitchen, living space, and a library. There is also a grand pool that leads right up to the main house and a covered dining terrace and grilling station tucked into the remainder of the three-quarter-acre parcel.

Emanuel, who represents the likes of Larry David, Martin Scorsese, and Oprah Winfrey, is joining neighbors Gwyneth Paltrow, Trey Parker, and Oliver Stone in his new neighborhood.
