Tech media pioneer John Battelle has listed his Marin County estate just north of San Francisco for $9 million.
Located in Ross, California, the 6,700-square-foot old-world home features contemporary interiors with five bedrooms on the upper floor and a separate guest area on the first floor. Built in 1906, the mix of classic architecture and sleek, modern styling makes the home unique in its own right.
In addition to features like a library, a gym, a music room, and large entertaining rooms, the lot sports park-like grounds that lead to a plethora of nearby trails for the outdoor enthusiast or a simple afternoon stroll.
Battelle was one of the founders of “Wired” magazine, a co-founder of the Web 2.0 Summit, and wrote the book “The Search” about Google.
