Stainless steel may still be all the rage when it comes to kitchen appliances, but there’s no rule against getting more creative. In fact, Smeg and Dolce & Gabbana have paired to create the new FAB28 refrigerator.

The fridge isn’t just an appliance—it’s a piece of art. Although most luxury refrigerators are ultra high-tech and, well, gray, black, or white, the unique design of the FAB28 means customers won’t miss the typical metallic finish.

Bold, bright, and colorful, the Dolce & Gabbana X Smeg pieces are painted Sicilian artists and adorned with cart wheels, medieval knights, and lemons. Customers will also find intricate battle scenes and the Trinacria symbol, in addition to plenty of floral embellishments, as part of the unique design.

Featuring the advanced quality of Smeg’s work and an incredibly unique design, only 100 examples of the FAB28 will be made.
