The $20-million villa on the Caribbean island of Mustique that belonged to late music icon David Bowie is now available to rent with weekly rates ranging between $40,000 and $70,000 depending on the season.
The over 30-year-old estate features the same Indonesian theme in all of its glitz and glamour that Bowie gave to the property when he purchased the land in the 1980s.
The 6.2-acre estate was recently purchased by British multi-millionaire Simon Dolan, who is a known Bowie super-fan and even has a son named after the glam rock star. Dolan has only made slight upgrades to the furnishings since purchasing the property.
The Mustique getaway has five individually named bedrooms, with each featuring their own veranda leading out to the lagoon-style pool.
Some of the guests to the former Bowie vacation home have included the likes of Mick Jagger, former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson, and even the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
