Austrian carmaker KTM released a limited-edition take on its X-Bow GT model, dubbed the “Black Edition,” at the recent 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
An Audi 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that pushes out 320 horses has been stuffed beneath the hood, which makes the zero-to-62 mph time just 4.1 seconds for this special X-Bow.
The “Black Edition” sees XTM using a liberal amount of carbon fiber, with the chassis, body covers, hood, and even the wheel arches featuring the super-strong, ultra-light material. XTM has even tweaked the aerodynamics of the “Black Edition” to give it the downforce of a Formula racing model.
Inside, the new XTM model features hand-stitched seats, a suede leather steering wheel, and all-aluminum machined gear and handbrake levers.
XTM has produced only five examples of the “Black Edition” and has given the special model a $110,000-plus price tag. However, owners will get a special perk: a tour of KTM’s factory in Graz, Austria.
