The Bugatti Chiron was released at the Geneva Auto Show earlier this month with a $2.6-million price tag and incredible specs.

The supercar features 1,500 horsepower and a top speed of 261 mph thanks to an 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder engine and a ton of carbon fiber. What you may not know is that it also sports an incredible sound system that utilizes one-carat of diamonds in its tweeters to produced clear, distortion-free sound.

Bugatti brought in Accuton to create the new speakers for the Chiron, and the diamond membrane helps create the best possible high-frequency sound. The membranes in the tweeters are made from CVD diamonds which enable the speakers to hit frequencies of up to 100kHz, a range not achievable by any other material.

Human hearing doesn’t go above 20kHz, but Bugatti is clearly giving its customers an experience that is literally unmatched simply because it can.
