Meet Energica Eva, a 100% electric motorcycle that produces 95 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. The streetfighter was created in Modena in the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley.
The powerful bike features a permanent-magnet, oil-cooled motor with a range of up to 124 miles in Eco mode and an electronically-limited top speed of 124 mph in Sport mode. Since Eva doesn’t have a gearbox or clutch, riders utilize a ride-by-wire system to control acceleration and deceleration using an integrated regenerative torque braking system.
Riders can simply enjoy the ride while an advanced vehicle control unit manages the anti-lock braking systems, battery, electric inverter, and charger.
The muscular bike is crafted from lightweight fiberglass paneling with steel tubular framing and also features built-in GPS and Bluetooth modules for smartphone connectivity.
No pricing details have been released, but the bike is expected to be under $27,000.
