Mercedes-Benz has been creating hot rod AMG versions of their cars for some time, but now the luxury automaker is adding AMG Sport variants to their lineup.
Even though the upgraded cars don’t feature all the intense power of the Mercedes-AMGs, they’re certainly worth notice.
Based on Mercedes’ redesigned midsize SUV, the GLE450 AMG 4Matic is the newest AMG Sport model. With a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that produces 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque, it wows among similar vehicles in its class.
The unique 40/60 torque split for the all-wheel drive system means the new 4Matic features a little more oomph than the standard GLE. It also sports Nappa leather interiors and aluminum trim pieces for a more luxurious look.
Able to zoom from zero to 62 mph in only 5.7 seconds with a top speed of up to 155 mph, the Mercedes-Benz GLE450 AMG 4Matic is undeniably one of the most desirable SUVs on the market.
