Bowers & Wilkins approaches its 50-year anniversary and is celebrating by revamping its more affordable speakers.

Although the oblong shape might look unusual, the design was intentional so the tweeters would be farther apart to produce stereo-quality sound.

The Zeppelin Wireless speaker underwent an external overhaul from the Zeppelin Air model by ditching the old iPod/iPhone dock, making the Zeppelin a truly wireless speaker with Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect accessible through WiFi.

Internally, B&W made its already solid sounding tabletop even better by re-engineering the components and space used in the unit. The result is a crystal-clear sound from treble, to bass, to vocals.

The all-new Zeppelin Wireless speaker retails for $699.
