Luxury audio brand Sonos has just debuted its newest creation. The all-new “Play:5” smart speaker provides clear and consistent sound regardless of where it’s placed.

Sonos’ state-of-the-art Trueplay tuning software gives the new speaker an edge above the competition with auto-calibration of sound depending on where the other speakers are located.

Armed to negate an individual room’s acoustics, Trueplay focuses on producing the same audio sounds that were created by customers’ favorite artists.

Users can simply log on to the Sonos app to allow their iPhone or iPad to analyze a room—like how sound might reflect off walls and furnishings—so the high-tech speakers can adjust for premium sound performance.

The Play:5 sports six synchronized, custom-designed drivers with three mid-woofers and three tweeters for flexible, consistent sound.
