Home theater buffs looking for a comprehensive A/V system need not look any farther. Marantz’s new AV7702mkII pre tuner has almost every feature under the sun.
With several new A/V systems on the market, customers are often left choosing between features, but that’s not an issue with Marantz’s new device. It comes complete with Dolby Atmos support, seven surround, and has expansive 3D format capabilities.
The new A/V is also upgradeable to DTS’s version of object-based surround, DTS:X via firmware, or users can opt to add Auro-3D and the Auromatic upmixer plug-in.
With high-resolution audio streaming included, phono input, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth support, and 32-bit digital to analog conversion, it’s difficult to find a feature the 7702 doesn’t have.
Interested buyers can also go to Marantz for several different souped-up amplifiers to pair with the 7702. Priced at $2,199, the AV7702mkII will be available this October.
