Space tourism is no longer a dream of the past. SpaceX has just unveiled the look of its new Dragon spacecraft built to take paying customers to the international space station and beyond.

The company was the first commercial spacecraft to reach the space station back in 2012 and has since devoted its time to making space travel a reality for the public.

As expected, the SpaceX rocket is ultra futuristic with four windows and seats made from Alcantara cloth and high-grade carbon fiber. Travelers will enjoy real-time information from the craft’s displays while secured in their seats.

The company has accounted for safety concerns by including an emergency escape system to save astronauts from any unforeseen threats. Of course, space travel wouldn’t be comfortable without advance environmental control and life support systems, as well as internal temperature controls.

SpaceX’s Dragon will be a fully autonomous commercial spacecraft with mission control located in Hawthorne, California.
