Rolls-Royce is joining other luxury vehicle brands by unveiling their newest car at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The brand’s new convertible—the Rolls-Royce Dawn—is a drop-top version of the popular Wraith coupe.
Inspired by the 1952 Silver Dawn, the new Dawn has a fabric top able to open or close in just 22 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph. The classic top also fits perfectly in a teak-covered rear deck, which adds to the car’s classic, nautical look.
Dawn’s spacious leather interiors pair well with a high-performance Bespoke Audio system and an upgraded infotainment system with convenient but unobtrusive controls.
A 6.6-liter V12 engine producing 563 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque works with an eight-speed automatic transmission to offer plenty of power on the road. The new model also sports a satellite-aided gearbox capable of adjusting operation based on GPS-directed terrain changes.
The all-new Rolls-Royce Dawn will make its grand debut this week at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. If you’re thinking of getting one, you may have to wait for a while—it’s sold out.
