Ford’s 2017 GT isn’t available yet, but it’s rumored to cost $400,000. The potentially pricy car is also going to be difficult to acquire since interested customers will have to submit an application to be considered.
Although the ordering process won’t even begin until early 2016, interested buyers will have to submit a specific request to Ford. Top priority will go to current GT owners, but anyone can apply for the unique new coupe.
After customers are selected, they’ll go through the personalization process before completing their purchase at a local GT dealer. The concierge-style system means each GT will be built to customer specifications rather than simply shipping standard versions to dealers.
Only 250 units of the Blue Oval’s 2017 supercar will be made, so interested buyers should prepare to apply at the start of next year.
