If this Santa Monica Canyon home looks familiar, it’s because you probably saw it on “Entourage.” Vice Media Inc. CEO Shane Smith has just purchased the luxurious California estate for $23 million.
Smith’s new home sits on 3.35 acres featuring the main house, a guesthouse complete with a fireplace and kitchenette, a lily pond, gardens, a 72-foot pool with one-bathroom cabana, and a babbling brook. All the properties equal a total of 14,000 square feet.
The main home was built in 1932 and has 12 bedrooms and 12-and-a-half bathrooms. Lush details include Art Deco tiles, hand-painted ceilings, stone mantels, and a winding staircase.
An expansive library also comes with a hidden wetbar that can be activated by pushing a special panel. Known as Villa Ruchello, it’s no surprise this beautiful property served as the set for a popular TV show.
