Sales for 50 United Nations Plaza began in 2013, and the 88-unit condo tower is home to several high-end apartments. A duplex penthouse in the Manhattan building is now available for $70 million.
Designed by British architects Foster + Partners, the unique residential building has recently finished construction, which is why the unit has been listed.
With views of the East River, a private outdoor pool, and entertainment room, the apartment is luxurious and stacked with amenities. The 9,700-square-foot home has four bedrooms, staff quarters, an elevator, and a 525-square-foot terrace.
The private, heated 34-foot long pool is accompanied by a wood pool deck, which can be accessed through the entertainment room and master suite.
If the penthouse itself isn’t large enough, new owners can opt to combine the penthouse with the full-floor unit below, but it will up the price to around $100 million. The lower-level apartment is currently priced at $29.25 million and spans 5,900 square feet.
