A La Jolla, Calif., home designed by architect Wallace Cunningham is now on the market. The custom-designed, three-bedroom house nicknamed “Brushstroke” has the look of a building crafted from brushstrokes.

The owners recently passed away, so the 1995 home set on a 1.3-acre plot is for sale. The long, rectangular building is set above the property’s gardens and also features incredible views of the Pacific Ocean. The views also extend to the unique infinity pool behind the home. The jet-black pool is shaped like a willow leaf and offers sparkling reflections of light.

The modern steel-and-glass home is covered in wall-to-wall glass windows with strategically placed structural walls to maintain privacy. Aged redwood is used as an accent throughout to give clean lines a natural distressed look.
