Johnny Depp’s South of France home is available! The $26-million estate sits in a former village and comes completely furnished with some of the actor’s personal belongs, including books, art and DVDs.
The massive home is nestled on 37 acres near the village of Plan-de-la-Tour, and Depp spent around $10 million updating and restoring the early-1800s structures. The actor converted a church on the property into a guesthouse which features a full professional kitchen and a wardrobe remodeled from an old confessional. Also on the property are a laundry building and garage made to look like local businesses.
Built from natural stone and wooden beams with terra cotta roofs, the 4,300-square-foot main house boasts five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. Depp managed most of the decorating, including the wine cave decorated in the spirit of “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The incredibly unique property also has an art studio where Depp painted, several guest cottages like a covered wagon outfitted with bathroom and kitchen, a gym, skate park with halfpipe and two swimming pools.
