Jay Z and Beyonce just bought a New Orleans home that used to be a massive church but is now a massive mansion.
The mansion has 13,292 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a total of 21 rooms. The loft-style sitting room and library has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, with the home’s ceilings measuring 26 feet.
The home, located in the Garden District, was a Presbyterian church in 1925. It also used to be a ballet school. It was converted into a home in 2000. The hardwood floors, columns, and molding were all part of the original construction.
Jay Z and Beyonce reportedly purchased the property for $2.6 million.
