Former Lakers Coach Mike D’Antoni Lists Manhattan Beach Home for $10M

Former Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni is selling his Manhattan Beach, Cali., beachfront property for $9.8 million.

The home is not the typical giant estate that carries a large price tag—it’s three stories and only has 5,000-square-feet of living space. What is the reason for the high price?

“If you’re reading about this from other parts of the world, it sounds crazy,” Ed Kaminsky, the listing agent, said, “But for Manhattan Beach, this atypical property is unbelievable.”

The house is all about location. You simply open the door and you’re on the beach. Other homes in the area are only 30 feet wide, so this home is a mansion in comparison.

The home has three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, chef’s kitchen, exercise room, and has a modern design with a home automation system.  There is also a climate-controlled wine cellar in the basement that can store 2,000 bottles.
