A six-bedroom, five-bathroom beachfront home is the Delaware’s most expensive home at $6.7 million.
The 8,400-square-feet offers plenty of living space—so much so that according to Bruce Lingo, the agent handling the listing, some buys are overwhelmed.
“It’s a lot of house,” Lingo said. “When I’ve had people walk through, they are in awe of the house. But at the end of the tour, some are a bit overwhelmed by the size.”
The price of the home reflects the house’s size and beachfront locale.
“You have beautiful water views in every direction, from every area of the house,” Lingo said. “The view from the deck looking out on to the beach is spectacular.”
The house was built in 1987. The home was custom built for a real estate developer from the Washington D.C. area. He and his family used the home as a vacation house.
