Recently shown off at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the Buick Avenir Concept is a vision into the future of Buick, according to the brand.

As far as the body design, the Buick of the future looks like it will have full LED exterior lighting, 21-inch wheels, and an overall sleek design with strategically placed curves to give the car a modern appeal. All eyes are not on the future, though. The new grille design is inspired by the ’54 Wildcat Concept II’s grille.

The leather interior’s relaxing color is not too bold yet still unmistakably luxurious. The tech is the real star, however, with a driver-recognition feature that automatically brings up the information and entertainment the driver normally uses in the car. Wireless device charging, a touchscreen display module, built-in Wi-Fi, and cabin air filtration round out the interior tech.

Under the hood is a next-generation V-6 engine with active fuel management and stop/start technology that power all four wheels.

The Buick Avenir is just a concept and there is no information at this time as to when the features used in this concept might find their way into Buick’s future full-production cars.
