Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld recently sold his Washington D.C. home for $3.8 million.
The 5,115-square-foot home has five bedrooms (including a master suite), a recreation room, a huge dining room, library, and a cozy traditional kitchen.
Other amenities worthy of note are large French doors that open to a patio. There are also arched glass doors that lead out to a pool.
The home was originally listed back in the summer of 2014 for $4.5 million, so it sold at a significant discount. Rumsfeld still saw a small profit as he bought the home in 2001 for $3.3 million.
